Collagen is so important and has so many benefits including helping prevent the signs of aging. I LOVE Vital Proteins because they understand the benefits of collagen and all their products are gluten-free, NON-GMO, whole-food-based & cruelty-free! Collagen is basically the “glue” that holds our entire bodies together. For more amazing benefits on collagen, see my post here.
As usual, this smoothie recipe is fast, easy and SUPER healthy! This one uses two of my favorites from Vital Proteins listed below and is more for those health conscious super green lovers that like that earthy good-for-you taste if that makes sense. If that’s not really your thing, I recommend adding a little cinnamon in the recipe to sweeten it up a bit.

Daddy daughter Day! On the agenda: Alfred in the Alley, Malibu Wines and Malibu Cafe.

Can you imagine the O-M-G moment I had once I realized 2017 is The Year of the Rooster? Like woah. So on that note… out with the old, in with the new… but first,
2016 RECAP: Last year I swapped coffee for matcha, chopped my hair and dyed it pink and Chris and I celebrated five year of being together. I bought a new car (I didn’t really have a choice considering I got a lemon and it all went to hell on me) and after almost 10 years and millions of mocha frappuccinos and caramel macchiatos later… I quit my job at Starbucks.
There’s just something about a rainy day that makes a coffee date extra special. One of my favorite local coffee shops is Dripp in Fullerton, CA. I brought my mom in the other day when it was pouring and we had some time to kill. I got my usual favorite, their lavender matcha latte with almond milk and my mom tried their mocha. We also shared their pumpkin pie pop tart – warmed of course!
