THE”VIOLET FOG” – McQUEEN SIGNATURE COCKTAIL

Hi friends and fellow cocktail lovers! I’ve recently teamed up with Sovereign¬†Brands and Royer Corp to bring you another batch of delicious drink recipes for the upcoming holidays!

If you prefer something sweet, perhaps for Valentine’s Day to share with your boo, try my “Bumbu + Boo XOXO”. Click here.

For something more refreshing and the interesting backstory on the McQueen gin, try my St. Patty’s themed “McQueen Dream” cocktail. Click here.

If you’re looking for something that’s the perfect combination of both, you came to the right place!

Out of all three recipes, I think this one has to be my favorite. Then again, I’m a HUGE sucker for ginger beer (so is my sister) so perhaps we’re a little bias when it comes to cocktails with ginger beer. And with this fantastic small-batch gin, you’ll be hooked as well! Trust us! This drink rocks!

What I love most no about this cocktail is not only how addictingly tasty it is, but how simple it is to make!

The recommended garnish for this drink is butterfly pea flowers for a violet hue. (Sadly, my store didn’t have any) So instead, I decided to use fresh basil, hoping it might bring out one of McQueen’s signature botanicals- Basil leaves handpicked in India.¬†
