Happy Valentine’s Day! (well… almost)
I don’t know about you, but after you’ve been dating almost a century (JK Chris… Love you!) Okay, eight years… somehow going out and paying $$$ for a five-course meal along with 500+ couples doesn’t sound fun anymore. Netflix + Chill anyone?
The last few Valentine’s, Chris and I have enjoyed staying in and creating a romantic vibe at home instead of dealing with the crowds and overpriced plates. Cheers to long-term relationships!
I think it’s safe to say I’ve gotten my entire family hooked on Bumbu. Why? It’s freaking AMAZING. I’m not big on taking shots, but this is one spirt I can definitely enjoy straight out of the bottle.

We’re not huge drinkers, but I do take great joy in the occasional fancy AF cocktail, especially on holidays… This Bumbu + Boo XOXO cocktail is the perfect drink to enjoy on Valentine’s day- with your boo!
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bumbu Rum
- Orange Juice
- Soda or Tonic Water
- Fresh Strawberries
HOW TO MAKE
- Blend fresh strawberries (about six or 7) in a blender with a splash of water and crushed ice. Pour into glass.
- Add OJ (about 1/3 cup full)
- Add soda or tonic water (about 1/3 cup full)
- Add a shot (or 2!) of Bumbu rum
- Top with a fresh strawberry for garnish.
Sip and enjoy!
