Okay… I know what you’re thinking… Halloween in January?? But let me explain…

My sister’s birthday is in January and her absolute favorite holiday is Halloween. This year, I decided to throw her a Halloween-themed “Boo-Day” party for her and her friends.

My sister, being an amazing photographer, is the master behind my beautiful collab imagery (this one included) so I decided to reach out to some of my favorite brands to help make her birthday extra special.

Sovereign Brands sent us each a set of their stunning Bumbu rocks glasses (OMG- I LIVE!!!) as well as a bottle of their delicious Bumbu rum and their new McQueen and the Violet Fog gin.

Royer Corp sent some of their adorable Skeleton Hand Swizzle Sticks (some even glow in the dark!), adding the perfect touch (pun intended) to my “Creepers Cocktail”!

I recently created a “McQueen Dream” St.Patty’s themed cucumber cocktail that came out SO good, (and was such a cool color) I knew it would be the perfect choice to serve at my sister’s surprise Boo-Day party. I decided to add an edible hibiscus flower for a freaky final touch. (Doesn’t it look like the egg sac from “Aliens”??) View the recipe here.

Because time flies and it feels like we JUST put all the (October) Halloween decorations away… we decided to keep the decor for the party as low-key as possible, while still creating the perfect ghoulish vibe.

You don’t have to break the bank when it comes to throwing a themed party. All you really need is some Pinterest inspo, a few festive pieces, some imagination (and perhaps a delicious cocktail)- and you’re good to go!
